Casual Rate - $5.95 per single column centimetre

Volume Discounts

500 cms - 1500 cms (or 12 issue rate) - $5.75 per single column centimetre
1500 cms plus (or 26 issue rate) - $5.45 per single column centimetre

Special Requirements

Full Colour

• Full Page - Applicable rate plus $220
• Half Page - Applicable rate plus $140
• 80 s/col cms - Half page - Applicable rate plus $90
• Less than 80 s/col cms - Applicable rate plus 35%
• For Example 10 cms x 2 columns (20 s/col cms) @ $5.75 per s/col cm - $115 plus 35% = $155.25
• Spot Colour - Full colour rates apply
• Inserts - $80 per 1000 (includes GST) Minimum quantity 3,000

• Front page (when available) - Applicable rate for full colour plus 50%
• Page 2 and 3 - Applicable rate for colour plus 20%
• Other specially nominated positions - Applicable rate plus 12.5%

Trade Advertisements

• $29.75 per insertion (includes GST)
• 10% discount applies for bookings of 6 insertions (paid in advance)
• Trade advertisements measure 60mm wide by 30mm in depth

Booking and copy deadlines

Booking deadline - 1 pm on the Thursday of the week prior to publication.

Material deadline - 1 pm on the Friday of the week prior to publication.

Digital Material Specifications

Completed advertising material should be supplied as an .eps file with text turned into outlines, or as press ready .pdf files.

Tiff or similar bitmap images should be 150 dpi at the actual print size.

When you email a file, Winzip is helpful, maximum size is 3mb.

The Buderim Chronicle operates on an IBM compatible PC system, therefore if files are supplied from an Apple Macintosh platform, they should be saved with the correct file extensions.

Mac fonts are not compatible.

All colours should be converted to CMYK - RGB and Pantone spot colours are not compatible.

Microsoft Office documents can only be used as a brief, they are not suitable as finished artwork. If you do submit an Office document, please supply any images at 150dpi in JPEG format (with no compression). Your advertisement will be reset as closely as possible.

Microsoft Publisher can not be used.
