Click for larger image The Buderim Chronicle has established a unique bond with its readers. This has been confirmed in a readership study undertaken by University of the Sunshine Coast marketing faculty. The research project conducted over a 13-week period in late 2004, explored demographics, attitudes and overall readership behaviour in the area designated Post Code 4556 (Buderim Chronicle circulation area).

The purpose of the study was to establish objective quantitative and qualitative data on who Buderim Chronicle readers are, and how they regard the paper. The survey was conducted according to best market research practice. Findings included:

89.9% of the respondents study respondents are readers of the Buderim Chronicle

Click for larger image 60% are loyal readers of every issue. The Buderim Chronicle has established itself as a trusted source of local news and information, that it is approachable and well connected with the community and that it helps to create a sense of togetherness.

More than one person reads the paper in 59% of households with the Chronicle readership habit.

41.9% believe that the layout and presentation of the paper ranges from very good to exceptional.

The Buderim Chronicle has worked hard to establish great relationships with readers, contributors and advertisers, and itıs paying off.
